A Nagoya University–based biotech startup, iBody rapidly develops high-function monoclonal antibodies with its proprietary Ecobody® technology. The company promotes joint research with pharmaceutical, diagnostic, and research institutions. - Playbox
A startup aiming for co-creation between people and technology, Playbox develops AI cameras and an analytics platform starting in the sports field, based on its core technology of “making human movement calculable.” - Strout
Strout operates “Sakana Edge,” a land-based aquaculture business utilizing idle assets. By combining aquaculture techniques with AI and IoT, the company has built an efficient and stable aquaculture management model. - Waste Box
Wastebox provides climate change–focused environmental consulting. Its wide-ranging services include emission measurement and disclosure support, carbon footprint calculation, and environmental value creation. - ZeroOne

■What’s the Central Japan Startup Ecosystem Consortium?
The Central Japan Startup Ecosystem Consortium is a collaborative organization dedicated to supporting the creation and growth of startups in the Central Japan region. As part of the “Startup Ecosystem Global Base City” initiative promoted by the Cabinet Office, it is composed of a coalition of industry, academia, and government, with core members including the Chubu Economic Federation, Nagoya University, Aichi Prefecture, the City of Nagoya, the City of Hamamatsu, Gifu Prefecture, and Mie Prefecture.

TechGALA is a technology festival that stands apart from conventional business conferences, aiming to pave the way for the future of our planet. Held from January 27–29, 2026, it is a global event that brings together professionals from various fields who are leading today’s society. SWITCH (Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology) is one of Asia’s largest innovation events, hosted by Enterprise Singapore, a government agency. Held annually in October or November, it functions as a key conference connecting the global and Asian innovation ecosystems, bringing together deep tech-focused startups, corporations, investors, and government representatives.
