大学発ディープテックが描く海外市場への事業展望

大学・研究機関に蓄積された膨大な研究シーズの社会実装を進めるディープテック・スタートアップ。サイエンスに基づくビジネスは、成功までの障壁も多いものの、市場を捉えられれば、言葉の壁を超えて、瞬く間に世界に広がることが期待されます。
本セッションでは、日本の大学発ディープテックが世界で事業を展開するための実践的なステップと課題を、多様な視点から議論します。大学研究者・事業化支援機関・行政・都市開発のエキスパートを招き、研究段階のシーズをどのように海外市場へ接続し、国際的な競争力を持つ事業へと育てていくかを多角的に検討します。
名古屋大学を含む東海エリアの強みをどう国際市場で生かすか、そして研究成果をいかにスケールさせ、グローバル事業へと橋渡しするか。本セッションでは、研究・政策・場づくりの三位一体による新しい挑戦の方向性を描き、大学発ディープテックの海外展開に向けた実践的な知見を参加者の皆さまと共有します。

This session, Crossing Borders with Deep Tech: From Research Seeds to Global Business, explores the practical steps and key challenges for Japanese university-based deep tech to expand into international markets. Bringing together university researchers, commercialization experts, government officials and leaders in urban innovation, the session examines how early-stage technologies can be connected to overseas markets and developed into globally competitive businesses.
We will also discuss how the strengths of Nagoya University and the broader Tokai region can be leveraged in global markets, and what it takes to scale research outcomes into sustainable, international ventures. Through the combined perspectives of research, policy and ecosystem development, this session aims to outline new directions for global expansion and share actionable insights for advancing Japanese university-originated deep tech onto the world stage.
